Spanish Conmigo NYC was created from something deeply personal.

When I became a mom, I started searching for a 

Spanish class for my daughter. I wanted her to grow up connected to the language—not just hearing it, but truly experiencing it.

But what I found didn't feel right.

Most classes were centered around music alone—and while those are wonderful, we were already doing that in English. I was looking for something more immersive. More intentional. More engaging.

I wanted a space where my daughter could:

• listen to stories in Spanish
• explore through arts and crafts
• move, sing, and play
• build friendships with other children learning the language
• develop confidence naturally

I didn't want worksheets. I didn't want pressure. I wanted joy.

So I created the class I couldn't find.

Today, Spanish Conmigo NYC is a children's Spanish language program based at 155 E. 22nd Street in Gramercy, Manhattan. We're founded by a New York State–certified Spanish teacher with over 20 years of experience in education, and we offer:

• La Casita: Open Play (ages 1–8)
• Little Spanish Explorers (ages 2–5)
• Spanish Club (ages 4–8)
• Spanish Academy I (ages 7–10)
• Private tutoring and lessons for students up to age 17, in-person or online

Through our play-based immersion approach, children begin speaking Spanish from day one, build confidence through repetition and routine, and develop genuine social connections in a bilingual environment.

And the most meaningful part? My daughter is now 9 years old—and she still loves coming to Spanish Conmigo.
